As a local fan, this place never disappoints. It never lacks the quality in food and service. The restaurant is nearly always busy when I'm in, and yet the experience is still great.
Great selection of food, the nachos, cheesy Sanchez and baked beans were delicious. Great spot to stop for lunch after hitting the oz museum. Kids were happy with their meals too. Didn't have any, but there were 12 beers on tap.
I met one of my girlfriends here for lunch. I ordered one of the chicken wraps, which was very tasty! The server we had was somewhat curt, but wasn't rude. Drinks were okay, even though the bar tender didn't know how to make my friends drink. A BahamaMomma, which is pretty much on every bar tenders first learned drinks.... we even had to look it up for her and take our phone over for her to read it (which is weird in today's tech world)... nonetheless, it was a good experience & I will definitely go back.
A friend and I stopped in to this deli for lunch while after visiting the Oz Winery across the street. There was no soup of the day because they only do it seasonally. My friend had the brisket sandwich with chips on the side and I had a Cajun chicken wrap with cheesy corn on the side. Yum! Everything was delicious. Really tasty and nothing was overdone. The service and atmosphere were also great and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend for lunch or dinner.
Pretty good food for a small town bar priced about normal. The staff is really nice and the atmosphere is great. It is really a cool old building.
